The reserve is placed on a specific record of the balance in a specific warehouse - and you actually change it.

Strange logic.
If the balance in the warehouse is 100 units, in the reserve - 20, then the free balance is 80.
I write off, for example, 5 units, why is the reserve 20 canceled if I have a free balance of 80?
Why does writing off the FREE balance in the warehouse not work?

These are the basics of inventory control - the reserve of goods SHOULD NOT be canceled just like that, and if part of the goods is reserved, and part is available for write-off, then the available balance should be written off.
You have a different logic, which, as can be seen from the discussion, causes inconvenience, not only to me.
