There is no explicit functionality to implement this in the system - very non-obvious conditions and a non-standard scheme for working with products (when the same articles are duplicated).
If there are not many such products, you can set some value of the additional product field to the required (or vice versa, to the old ones) and limit the upload by the value of the additional field
