1C and CRM-systems at enterprises: opinion of the expert of "IT Artel" company

How are the CRM and 1C systems integrated and applied at the enterprise? Our partners from “IT Artel” told us about their experience of solving customers’ business-tasks with the help of CRM-systems and 1C:Enterprise. Let’s take a look at the classic example of using these solutions.

CRM-systems help to manage interactions with clients. Managers work with orders, requests, make mailings, analyze sales, loyalty and efficiency of the advertising in it. 

– is the system accountants are used to. It is used maintain accounting of finance, products and production materials of the company.

Incoming order

A manager places an order into CRM-system manually or a client fills in an order form on the website and information gets pulled in automatically. A manager process the order in CRM-system then: clarifies the details, payment and delivery methods. At this point work in CRM is suspended. Then goes the following:

  • payment, conducted by the accountant,
  • forming, manufacturing and assembling of the order, 
  • balances write-off upon the order.

All of this usually is displayed in 1C.

A manager cab work with 1C directly, but it requires knowledge of subtleties of its functioning. A manager can make a mistake, which an accountant would have to fix for a long while. That’s why, as experience has shown, it would be more efficient to perform integration (data exchange) between 1C and CRM systems. Each expert will work in his program then. 


  • each specialist works in his own program and cannot disserve other manager or accountant by any chance;
  • all the information on work with a client is stored in CRM and accountant gets only prepared order into his 1C.

Cons: there would be none, if the interchange between the systems is configured correctly. 

What should you be aware of during the setup of interchange between 1C and CRM systems?

You should give a careful thought for the business-process model. You should determine, what is the priority object: 1C or CRM? Based on our work examples, CRM-system always gains the lead. All the information on the order comes into it, gets processed and prepared order is received at 1C and sent to production or storehouse. 

You should designate employees in charge for every stage of work. Overall business-process should be divided into small stages and designate people in charge: who is exactly responsible for the activities at the every single stage. 

Designate the head/manager of the whole integration project, who would be aware of all the details of the project and control its fulfilment. So the executor could rapidly get the answers to his questions and clarifications. 

You need to ensure direct communication between the contractors. Direct communication between CRM and 1C providers without client’s involvement is crucial for integrations of all types. For example, we always request format of the file, generated by CRM-system, to create exactly the same file from 1C side. Thus the program understands how to fill in the appropriate fields. This saves time for the test itself and you can make adjustments on fly, if required. 

You should entrust the task to experienced executors. The last would probably be one of the most important requirements – the company should have experience in carrying out exchanges between 1C and CRM systems.

(Materials were provided, based on the example of implementation of exchanges between the website, 1C and OneBox CRM system for the textile company on manufacturing of children’s cloths «Evgakids».)

Interchange between 1C and OneBox 

OneBox automates business-processes and resource management. The system allows receiving orders from the websites and online-platforms automatically, control work of managers, records events and payments. The system sets tasks for employees, based on emails, messages, missed calls. It controls compliance to work standards and gives hits to newcomers how to act. But it doesn’t include accounting in it. 

Legal entities need to submit regulated reporting, balance sheet, form №2 and other documents. OneBox can automatically form and send a waybill, invoice, agreement, but not the tax report, that’s when you need the interchange with 1C. With such kind of integration data is conveyed from OneBox to 1C, which distributes it across the required forms and reports for the tax offices and other reporting authorities. In this case 1C acts like a system of forming regulated reporting.
